Every writer needs an editor. Editing can maximize the effectiveness of any piece of writing, whether it’s a letter, a report, an informational blurb, a press release, or an email. Led by Karin Dienst, managing editor in the Office of Communications, and Sally Freedman, managing editor of Jewish Studies Quarterly in the Program in Judaic Studies, this workshop will consider principles of good editing, explore potential pitfalls in communication, and offer hands-on practice designed to help make you a better editor, both of your own writing and of others’.
